Let's Keep It Simple.
Starting with premium rolls of leather, we cut, sew, and handcraft all of our shoes in the Midwest with a focus on quality and honesty (basically all shoes are handcrafted, by the way).
As it stands, the fashion industry is filled with middlemen- people who outsource the actual design and manufacturing of apparel to others before pawning off the product to you at ridiculous prices. Homeland wants to change that.
You shouldn't have to break the bank to feel good about the stuff you wear.
We hope you'll join us for the ride.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of leathers do you use?
While every shoe is different, we try our best to stick to high, quality, U.S.A.-made leather. We use a variety of hide types, but most shoes utilize chrome-tanned leather to ensure softness and comfortability.
Please be aware that the term "genuine" leather only means that the leather is not synthetic. The practices of elite tanneries determine the quality of a leather piece- not terms like full grain/top grain.
What's your return/exchange policy?
You have the right to return unworn pairs of shoes within 45 days of receiving the item for a refund or an exchange. Shipping charges on the original purchase are non-refundable. Please submit a return request before you return the shoes so that we can provide a prepaid shipping label and a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number that you must include in the package. Return shipping is free for exchanges. If you’d like a refund, you can return the item at your own cost, or use our prepaid return label.
Will you be expanding your product line?
Yes.
Can I resole my shoes?
Yes, we are happy to resole your shoes for $15 + shipping. Please contact us with your order number and we will accommodate.
Why are your shoe soles from China?
While we have made strides to domestically source almost all materials in our shoes, finding domestic suppliers of court sneaker outsoles has been difficult. If you are aware of one, please let us know. Unfortunately, we have found that most customers do not have the same pride for domestic rubber as domestic leather.
The option to purchase a Vibram sole will be available in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
How should I care for my shoes?
Please DO NOT machine wash.
Please DO NOT heat dry.
Clean dirt with a dry or slightly damp cloth before it sets.
You can use shoe cream or saddle soap for other cleaning/conditioning.
Use shoe trees when you can.
Our sneakers are finished with a scratch-resistant protective coating. For wet or harsh conditions, we recommend a light leather protector application occasionally.
Are you real?
Yes, we are real. We can make shoes in the U.S.A. profitably because we slashed our website design budget.
Do you do custom orders?
If you would like custom branding, colors, or materials for yourself or your company, please use the form below to contact us. We do not currently offer custom shoe widths, sorry.
